Travis is a UBC graduate in Human Kinetics (’97) and Physical Therapy (’98). He received his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2001. He is faculty of UBC’s GCOMPT program for advanced education in physiotherapy and enjoyed mentoring many students. Travis obtained his Diploma of Sport Physiotherapy in 2007 which prepared him to work at the 2006 World Junior Hockey Championships and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics (hockey venue). Travis has enjoyed working as the team physiotherapist for the Vancouver Giants (WHL) since 2005. He has worked with many athletes and many sports (Softball Canada, Pro hockey and baseball, CFL/CIS Football). He has become recognized by the Titleist Performance Institute as one of few level 3 Medical Professionals specializing in golf injury in our area. Recently, Travis received the designation of Registered International Sports Physical Therapist from the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy.
