Sungod Physio

Megan Fenn

Megan loves strength training, going on hikes, exploring the Gulf Islands, snowboarding, and reading a good novel. She completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at UBC, following completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She currently holds a Level 1 Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification and plans to pursue higher levels of certification in the future. Megan was born and raised in Ladner, playing high level soccer and softball from a young age. A number of sports injuries landed her at SungodPhysio as a patient, beginning a never-ending passion to understand human anatomy and learn about sports medicine. She feels very grateful to be able to pursue a career that fulfills her passion for both. Along her journey to becoming a physiotherapist, you may have seen her at the desk working as a receptionist at the Ladner and Tsawwassen clinic locations. Following graduation from her Bachelor’s degree, she took on the role as a kinesiologist and physiotherapist assistant at these clinics, which further developed her interest in therapeutic exercise interventions. Megan combines her knowledge of human biomechanics, pain science and psychosocial influences to provide client-centered care. She is committed to staying up to date and using an evidence-based approach with a combination of manual therapy and active rehabilitation to help her patients return to the activities that they love.
