Jasub Jarquin
Jasub Jarquin received his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia (UBC), and his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics with a specialization in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. He has also successfully completed a post-graduate Fellowship within the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapy, which signifies that he has advanced specialized clinical and academic training in neuromusculoskeletal assessment and treatment. Jasub is also a Senior Clinical Instructor within the National Orthopaedic Division, routinely teaching Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) post-graduate courses. He also evaluates and aids in credentialing fellow Instructors as they advance throughout the National Orthopaedic Division teaching system. Jasub is currently the Head Physiotherapist for the Vancouver Giants of the WHL and has acted as Director of multiple interdisciplinary and High Performance Clinics throughout BC. He has mentored prospective and new physiotherapists completing orthopaedic specializations, including post-graduate programs at UBC and the University of Western Ontario. His clinical passions involve sports and orthopaedic physical therapy and stems from years of his own athletic experiences as well as years working as a Sports Kinesiologist for high performance athletes. For over a decade, Jasub has consulted for and provided care to numerous NHL, AHL, CFL, and Junior Hockey athletes, clubs, and tournaments, including the World Junior Hockey Championships, National Figure Skating Championship, Delta Hockey Academy, BC Summer Games, U17 Bayside Sharks Rugby, CrossFit Canada West Regional Championships, as well as at various local basketball, volleyball, and soccer tournaments. Jasub grew up in Ladner, is a DSS grad and a proud supporter of local athletic talent.
